Born in New York City and raised in Birmingham Alabama, Dr. John Huber came to Memphis Tennessee in 1988 after graduating from the University of the South with a B.A. majoring in psychology. Upon settling in Memphis, he earned a Master’s Degree in psychology from the University of Memphis and then an M.D. from UTHSC in 1997. He completed residency in 2001, where coincidentally he was a resident alongside
Dr. Tuli. He completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in 2002. Along the way, he got married and had three children.
Today Dr. Huber specializes in the detection and surgical treatment of skin cancers with Mohs surgery. He is double board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic dermatologic surgery through the American Board of Dermatology.
He is a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has twice been voted a top Dermatologist in the city of Memphis.
In his free time Dr. Huber enjoys spending time with his grown children, his dog, working in the yard, painting, and tennis.
