Caitlin Woodruff is a practicing Physician Assistant, trained in family medicine and specializing in dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Tennessee Medical Board. She is an active member of the Memphis Dermatology Society and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
A native Tennessean, Caitlin graduated from undergraduate training from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and minors in Chemistry and History. She received her Master's degree from Harding University in Searcy, AR. She initially began her career as a physician assistant in private practice orthopedic surgery in Little Rock, AR. With additional training, she made the transition to dermatology in 2017. Her special interests include the management of chronic diseases such as psoriasis, as well as the prevention and treatment of conditions ranging from acne to skin cancer.
Previously a collegiate runner, she continues to enjoy endurance sports and an active lifestyle. She has competed in the Boston Marathon twice and continues to train with a nationwide running team based in Seattle, WA. Other special interests include reading and thoroughbred racing. She currently lives in Memphis with her husband, who is a physician at Baptist hospital, and her Irish Setter, Rudy.
